It's kinda tough being stuck way up
here on an island in the Pacific Northwest, I miss that warm tropical weather of
Florida. I want to commend Rick on doing such a great job with the website. I am

Hidy tidy christ all mighty who the hell are we? zim zam god
damn mighty TKB!! Can you believe that I remembered that after all these
years!
I spent 4 years in the AF as an electronics tech, spent a year and a
half in Karamursel, Turkey on a security base, came back to the states to get
discharged, my folks had moved to Hawaii, so I went there, bought a motorcycle,
shipped it over to Vancouver Canada, and rode it down to San Diego, where my
Uncle lived, I ended up buying an old 42 ft sailboat, with money I had saved
while in the military, got married, lived on the boat for 10 years, when my
second child came along, we decided to sell the boat and buy a house, lived in
the house for about 8 years, and got sick of all the crime and drugs in SD, and
moved to Whidbey Island, Washington. It is beautiful here, and a great
place to raise the kids, my second daughter is in the Airforce now, stationed at
Minot AFB in North Dakota, she works in a graphic arts shop in a communications
squadron. She really likes it. My oldest daughter lives in Seattle,
and attends UW, and my latecomer son is just turning 13, and loves his sports,
he plays baseball, middle school basketball, and football. My wife was
raised in the Bronks in NY, and she is the 4-h sheep club leader here on the
island. We have a little 5 acre place with the old 5 bedroom 1 bath farm
house. I have my own contracting business and I am a Volunteer firefighter
and an EMT. I am still playing the guitar, I play bass guitar at the
chapel on Sundays, and I play lead and sing in a band here on the island, we do
weddings and parties, and I just love playing the old rock and roll, I still
remember our garage band days, making a microphone out of an old radio speaker,
and picking up Cuban radio stations on the amp.
