Children:  one son from previous marriage, Peter, age 28.  He is single, in the Coast Guard, stationed in Hawaii.  OK a big round of POOR  BABY for him! 

Married: Daniel  Heffron,  pipe fitter, Local 725.  Graduated from Coral Park, Class of 68. 

  Dan and I have been married for almost 22 years.  I have been self-employed as a medical transcriber, working out of my home in Miami Shores (NE Miami at approximately 95th Street and Biscayne Blvd.) for approximately 7 years. We have lived in our home now for not quite 18 years.  I do volunteer work in the neighborhood as a member of the local woman's club and as a resident member of the Miami Shores Chamber of Commerce.

  Dan and I do not have any children, but I do have a son, Peter, from previous marriage which ended in divorce.  Peter is 26-years-old, in the Coast Guard, and currently stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas.

  I did attend Miami-Dade Junior College taking Interior Design, and worked in the furniture industry and showrooms in Decorator's Row.  Then became interested in medical transcribing which fits my desire to work at home and on my own terms.

  We enjoy our four dogs (mutts), our orchid collection, sewing, and arts and crafts; and am currently actively working with the Miami Shores Woman's Club on their 50th Anniversary Celebration.  The club will be 50-years-old the same year most of us will be - 1949 - and I'm specifically working on the history book for the club.

  I have stayed in Miami since we graduated, but have traveled throughout quite a bit of our country.  My husband's family is based in Townsend, TN (just outside the Great Smoky Mts. near Knoxville/Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area) and we own some acreage up there.

  Well that is my life up to now - leaving out the "crying over the beer" parts.
